Firhat (pronounced Farah) received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Kings College London. She subsequently went on to achieve her Doctorate in Orthodontics from the University of Adelaide, South Australia and gained her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. She has been in specialist practice for over 20 years.

Dr Nabi has held part-time Consultant posts at Birmingham University Dental School, Bedford Hospital and Milton Keynes Hospital.

She can advise on the best orthodontic solutions to crooked teeth, usually using plates, braces and aligners.

Early orthodontic treatment can help to guide the growth of the lower jaw, creating facial symmetry; lower the risk of trauma to protruded front teeth; correct bad oral habits such as thumb sucking; create room to guide permanent teeth into a more favourable position and reduce the need and treatment time for later braces.
